Since its establishment in 1999, Shanghai Roots & Shoots has carried out many fruitful projects around the three themes of environment, animals and communities, such as the early yellow pages recycling project, the Siberian tiger rescue project, and the Shanghai Zoo Orangutan Museum reconstruction project. At present, our projects focus more on sustainable development, such as the Million Tree Planting Project, Green Office Assessment Project, Green Youth Action, Organic Farm, Le Miao Project, Hope House, My Child Tree Project, etc.
